Valentine’s week of 2022 is fast approaching. Valentine’s week or love week begins on 7th February and ends on 14th February. This week is dedicated to celebrating the true passion of love.

The love week begins with Rose day following that Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day, and finishes on Valentine’s Day. The whole week prior to Valentine’s Day is celebrated all around the world. Valentine’s Day (the greatest day of love) is observed on the 14th of February. Lovers all around the world keenly wait for this day since this day gives them a chance to show love and affection toward the love of their life.

The 1 st day of valentine’s week is Rose Day which is celebrated on 7th February. This Day has special importance because it is the beginning of valentine’s week. On this day lovers express their love by offering a red rose. Roses of any color namely red, orange, yellow, white, and pink can be given to the dearest ones.

How to celebrate rose day

On this Day, lovers exchange a rose which is the symbol of love and affection. The Red Rose is the symbol of romance. You can also give yellow roses to your close friends. Moreover, If you have someone in your life who’s just more than a friend. You can give a pink rose to that person.

You can buy as many roses as your pocket allows you. Red roses are sold out as quickly as hot cross buns. This day celebrates the belief of love when you can propose your love of life by giving him or her a red rose. You can give him or her a red rose along with greeting cards. In addition, you can send a message of affection and love. The red rose is always associated with affection and love. If someone is giving you a red rose on love day then it means that he is expressing his passion for you. In other words, a red rose signifies, “I Love you”.

A pink rose can be given on a rose day to express gratitude and appreciation. The yellow rose signifies true friendship. Yellow rose can put a beautiful smile on your friend’s face. On this day, give your parents a white rose which represents peace, and tell them you are thankful and grateful for everything.

In the earlier times, people used to believe that the number of roses you get from your valentine has a special meaning.

One rose – means love at first sight
Two roses– signifies mutual love
Three roses – means I love you
Six roses– means I want to be yours
Nine roses – mean I want to be with you forever
Ten roses – mean  perfection
Twelve roses – means be mine
Thirteen roses– means friends forever
Fifteen roses– to express apology
Twenty roses– means my feelings are sincere
Twenty-one roses- signifies I am dedicated to you
Twenty-four roses– signifies I am all yours
Twenty-five roses– Congratulations
Thirty-six roses– I am mad in your love

Forty roses– my love is genuine
Fifty roses-my love knows no bounds

However, these all were superstitious, these days people do not bother the number of roses, they get from their loved ones on the rose day or Valentine’s Day.

2. Propose day

The 2nd day of valentine’s week is known as propose day, which is celebrated on 8th February. This day lovers can propose with a ring. As the title indicates, the 2nd day of Valentine’s week is known as the proposed day. If you have someone special in your life then you can approach him or her and tell them about your feelings.

3. Chocolate Day

Chocolate Day is celebrated on 9th February. Send a basket of chocolates to your near and dear ones on this sweetest day to enhance their mood. On the 3rd day of Valentine’s week, you can make your loved ones happy with the box of chocolates.


4. Teddy day

Teddy day is celebrated on 10th February 2021. Teddies are the cutest soft toys, adored by every girl. Gift a Teddy to your loved ones on this day as a token of affection. No one knows how teddies became the sign of a love relationship, but they are soft, cute, and feel good when cuddle.


5. Promise day

Promise day is celebrated on 11th February. On this day, make promises that you can live up to with a pure soul. Promises ought to be made with pure intentions and heart.



6. Hug day

This day is celebrated on 12th February. Give your near or dear one a hug on this day of valentine’s week. A hug is the purest form of love that provides comfort and joy. Oxytocin is a hormone in the human body that is linked with happiness. When you hug someone, this hormone released from the body which contributes to elevates mood.

7. Kiss day

Kiss day is observed on 13th February; kiss your loved one on this day. On the 7th day of Valentine’s week, express your love and affection with the nicest gesture of love.
